"Get Sexy" is the first single to be taken from the Sugababes yet untitled seventh studio album. The song was produced by The Smeezingtons and is the Sugababes's twenty-fifth single overall, but the first to be released in the US since "Hole in the Head" in 2004.[2] "Get Sexy" will be released digitally on August 30 2009 and physically the following day in the UK. The song entered the A List on BBC Radio 1's coveted playlist almost a month before its release.[3] It is the first Sugababes single not to have a B-Side.
